“I walk by them and I do this thing now, I’ve started to grab my keys. I clutch them as I pass them. I push the keys between the spaces in my fingers. So that if I do have to hit one of them, I’LL FUCKING KILL THEM” —

Dylan Moran, on teenagers. (via plobertrant)

I always walk around New Brunswick like this.

“And, you know, politics aside, the success of Sarah Palin and women like her is good for all women—except, of course, those who will end up, you know, like, paying for their own rape kit ‘n’ stuff. But for everybody else, it’s a win-win. Unless you’re a gay woman who wants to marry your partner of 20 years—whatever. But for most women, the success of conservative women is good for all of us. Unless you believe in evolution. You know what? Actually, I take it back. The whole thing’s a disaster.” —Tina Fey

“The biggest 3D movie in the world, Avatar, is currently offered only as part of an exclusive package deal with Samsung. And Avatar is shit anyway: a humourless fable about a bunch of sanctimonious, stand-offish jungle-smurfs who spend their days running around in thongs, attacking explorers, interfering with sky-horses, and obstinately halting the march of progress for the sake of a poxy tree. Watching the Na’vi (see? even their name is obnoxious) mope and moan in three dimensions simply made them more real, and therefore more objectionable. Maybe if the final half-hour had consisted of one of the human soldiers repeatedly kicking one of the Na’vi shamen in his leaf- bollocks until he spewed blue sick and his eyeballs popped out in 3D, I’d have found it easier to stomach.” —Charlie Brooker
